Annie Lois Brown was born on October 10, 1941, to Elizabeth Bogar Brown and James Brown Jr. at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School and later attended Albany State University.
Annie Lois was employed at Bob’s Candy, where she worked faithfully until her retirement. She was a devoted and loving mother to her beautiful children and cherished her family deeply.
Annie Lois Brown Dixon departed this life on February 11, 2026.
She leaves to cherish her memory six of her seven children: Derrick Linkhorn (Drucilla Linkhorn), Michael Linkhorn, Leonard Linkhorn, Theresa Linkhorn, Johnny Dixon Jr., and Monericka Dixon. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robbie Selena Dixon.
She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Annie Lois Brown Dixon (A.D.) will be truly missed. She fought the good fight of faith and will always be in our hearts and loving remembrance.
