Brenda Louise Wilson Kimbrough, beloved daughter of the late Lula Mae Wilson and the late John Henry Wilson, was born in Worth County, Georgia, on March 25, 1952.
She received her formal education from the State of Georgia Department of Education.
Brenda was blessed with three children whom she nurtured and cared for with patience, discipline, humility, and love. As a loving mother and homemaker, she was diligent in caring for the needs of her family.
Brenda was a source of joy to everyone she met. She had a deep sense of family loyalty, ties, and responsibilities, and took great pride in using her God-given talents to help others. Her home was always open to family, and they loved her dearly. One of the joys of her life was cooking. She retired after 25 amazing years of working at The Hour Glass. She was known throughout the community for looking her best and preparing some nutritious meals. In her free time, she could often be found cleaning or taking naps throughout the day.
On December 15, 2022, Brenda transcended this earth into the arms of the heavenly father.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. Wilson and Lula Mae Wilson, and her son, Kawanis D. Turney.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her children, Cassandra D. Turney, and Shequori K. Clyde; her siblings, Lillie P. McDonald, Vera Wilson, John F. Wilson, Zackery Wilson, Curtis (Gloria) Wilson, Leotis Wilson, all of Oakfield, GA, Lois Potts, and Geraldine Cobey, both of Albany, GA; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
