Brodrick Barnes, the son of Brenda L. Barnes and Roderick D. Gibson, was born on August 22, 2011, in Albany, Georgia.
Brodrick had a very strong will to live through all of his illnesses. He started every day with positivity. He really enjoyed watching TV, playing the Playstation, and listening to music. He loved himself some hot fries and a slush, and he always enjoyed being with family. He loved being under his brother. He would watch daily for his dad to pull up with his slush and hot fries. He was a happy camper. He attended Martin Luther King Elementary School where he really enjoyed it and the people. He was a thriving 3rd grader.
On Sunday Brodrick transitioned in the middle of the morning right before dawn. He went peacefully in his sleep.
The legacy of his nine years of love filled with wonderful memories. He leaves to cherish his everlasting memories his mother, Brenda L. Barnes of Albany, GA; his father, Roderick D. Gibson of Albany, GA; his sister, Tykeria M. Balter of McDonough, GA; his brother, Roderick D. Barnes of Albany, GA; grandmothers, Tara A. Gibson and Patricia M.
