Eugene Sanders

Mr. Eugene Sanders was born on September 4, 1959, to the late Maxie Sanders and Leila Mae Sanders. He passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Eugene attended public school in Dougherty County. He later attended Turner Job Corps to get hands-on training for a career. Mr. Eugene then worked for the City of Albany, Georgia, at Chehaw park for many years.

Mr. Eugene is survived by his daughter, Lataya Genise Timothy Hunter; four granddaughters, Zykilria, Nygeria, Tysheria, and Shyteria; three great-grandchildren, all of Albany, GA.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, George Sanders; three sisters, Clementine Sanders, Almatine Sanders Hull, and Shirley (James) Flewellen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
