Grady Rachel

Grady JW Rachel was born on April 13, 1950, in Albany, Georgia, and departed this life on November 11, 2021, at Wilson Hospice House. He was the only son of John and Irene T. Rachel who both preceded him in death.

His early life took place between Florida and Albany, Georgia, and he was a product of the Dougherty County School System. He was married and divorced and attended Bethel A.M.E. Church, Inc.

He leaves to mourn: five children, Henry Rachel, Kosha Rachel (James), Catrina Boone (Dexter), Grady Rachel, Jr., all of Albany, Georgia, and Ricky Rachel of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two aunts, Christine McKinley Collins (Ray), and Mary Jones (Thomas) of Medford, New York; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; cousins; and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
