Deacon Herman Joshua Wilson was born to the late Elijah Joshua and Josephine Mackey Wilson on June 21, 1928. Each and every soul has a God-appointed mission to fulfill. Deacon Wilson’s favorite motto: “May the Work I’ve Done, Speak for Me.”
Herman Joshua Wilson completed his life’s mission and answered God’s call to his heavenly home on August 17, 2021. He was preceded in transition by his loving wife, Nellie Wilson; brothers, Douglas Wilson and James Wilson; sisters, Francis Wilson Davis, and Margaret Elosie Wilson McCormick.
Herman is survived by one brother, Horatius Wilson; sister-in-law, Geraldine Wilson; God-Daughter/Cousin (Caretaker), Waldine Shelton; an especial nephew, Frederick Wilson, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
