On January 26, 1949, James “Bo” Flewellen was born to the late O.W. and Mattie Lee Flewellen in Worth County, Georgia. He received his education in Worth and Dougherty County Public School Systems.
At an early age, he gave his life to Christ at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church.
James was united in holy matrimony on March 16, 1985, to Shirley Flewellen.
He worked tirelessly at Coats and Clark and retired after 43 years of dedicated service. He was a master painter for many years.
On Thursday, December 7, 2023, James “Bo” Flewellen entered the Pearly Gates of Heaven where he will spend eternity with his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by both parents and 4 siblings: Aaron, Theron, Nathaniel, and Lillie Pearl.
