John Michael Bryant was born in the great city of Albany, Georgia, on April 9, 1983. He was affectionately known as Mike, John-John, Mikey, J-Beezy, Uncle Mike, Eyes, Cuz, and Daddy. The one title that he was the proudest to carry was "Dad." He was the father of one.
John Michael Bryant was a graduate of the former Albany High School. He graduated in 2002. After graduation, he began his apprenticeship as a bass-heavy, trunk-rattling stereo technician. He quickly received the reputation of one of the best technicians around. If walls ever quaked in the Evergreen/Town and Country subdivision, then it was probably the quality craftmanship of Mike.
John Michael Bryant also began his own independent shuttle service to countless brothers in need. No matter the day or time, he would be there for those who showed him love.
John Michael Bryant was a hip-hop and bass connoisseur. He would sit in his car for hours and surround himself with bass. He was also a cigarillo aficionado. He had a passion for clean fashion that he demonstrated while wearing "Polo". He loved smiling and laughing at jokes. "Ain'na nih" was his famous quote. Blue was his favorite color. His mother's macaroni and cheese was his favorite dish.
John Michael Bryant's proudest accomplishment was being an awesome father. He loved his son, Jordan, with all of his heart, mind, body, and soul. He was very proud of the man that Jordan grew up to be. No matter the highs or the lows, they were there for each other.
Mike's father, John Pace Bryant, preceded him in death earlier this year on March 16, 2021.
Mike is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Bryant; two sisters: Lucrecia Bryant King (Christopher) and Tomeka Bryant Hall (Arron); one brother: Brian Shaun Harpe (Courtney). He also leaves behind one son, Zachery Tyler Jordan Bryant.
He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
