Juanice Diane (Jackson) Loyd

On Tuesday December 10,2024, Juanice Diane Jackson Loyd (67) left her earthly body to go home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Diane was born in Albany, GA, on November 30, 1957, to John L. Jackson, Sr. and Pearlie Moore Jackson who preceded her in death. 

Diane graduated from Monroe High School in 1973 and attended Albany State University where she received a degree in business administration. She was deeply passionate about serving others, a commitment she demonstrated through her work as a facilities manager at SWGCA Head Start and as a unit secretary at Phoebe Memorial Hospital.

Diane was a devoted member of New Life of Albany for many years. Through every sickness, trial, and tribulation, she remained faithful to the Lord. She showed that Jesus was the lover of her soul by placing all her trust in him. 

Diane was a daughter, wife, mother, sister, cousin, and friend. She was a compassionate person who lived her life operating with a spirit of love and kindness. She never hesitated to lend a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear. She constantly poured into others. Diane always had an encouraging word for others and a big beautiful smile that could light up a room or warm any heart. 

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her brother, John L. Jackson, Jr., and her sister, Cynthia.

Fond memories of love will forever be cherished by her mother, Minnie Jackson Robinson; her three children, Joshua Loyd (Colette), Nyla Loyd, and Noelle Loyd Dawson who all reside in Columbus, GA; her siblings, Selena Jackson Ward (Willie) of Gloucester, VA; Myron L. Jackson (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Shyrel Jackson Gee (Solomon), Johnny Cuff, David Kendrick (Tanya), Cora Cuff Hawkins (Donald), and Betty Ann Wright (Frank), all of Albany, GA, Jackie Cuff Mayberry (Bernaird) of Monroe, LA, Yvonne Richardson, Michelle Wright, Carolyn Symonette, Jackie Bowman, and Chukita Bowman, all of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Alysia, Myiona, AKeya, Nivea, Aaliyah, Jace, McKenzie, and Bryson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and several lifelong friends.
