Ms. Juanita Grace-Harris was born on March 31, 1953, in Ithaca, NY, to the late Johnnie Mae Grace-Davis and J. R. Thompkins but was later adopted by a loving and devoted stepfather, Joe Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, and a loving son, Richard L. Grace.
Juanita was educated in the Dougherty County School System after moving to Georgia as a young child. She was employed in the hospitality industry until her health started to decline.
She joined and became an active member of Cray Chapel CME Church until she could no longer physically attend.
Juanita departed this earthly life on January 15, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory: a sister, Louise Davis; four brothers, Marvin Grace, Johnny Owens, Luzester Owens, and Joye Davis (Chekesha); two nephews, Jonte and Jamarion Davis; five nieces, Taneisha Jones, Letia Adams, Shena Bynum (Charlie), Tiffany Owens and Hayley Gilchrist; four great-nieces; three great-nephews; a host of cousins, family and friends; and a very special aide, Ms. Lillian, who cared for her tirelessly for many years….I just want to say thank you.
