Mr. LeaQuion De’Vontea Stafford, the youngest child of Sebrina B. Wright and Quincy Stafford Jr., was born February 21, 1991, in Albany, Georgia. He was formerly educated in the Dougherty County School System where he matriculated at Dougherty Comprehensive High School, ultimately graduating in 2009. Upon graduation, LeaQuion continued his education at Albany Technical College with a focus on Emergency Medical Technology, which was a testament to his dedication to caring for not only his family but others.
Later in life, he made the selfless choice to relocate to Panama City Beach, Florida, to be a caregiver to his niece. Immediately following he entered into the construction sector as well as the hospitality industry.
As a precocious young boy, he developed a reputation as a jokester and prankster that followed him well into adulthood. There wasn’t a person he encountered that wasn’t touched by his fun-loving personality or his zeal for caring for and loving his family. From start to finish, family meant everything to LeaQuion. There isn’t a single family member or friend, whether close or distant, who hasn’t been impacted by his spirit.
LeaQuion ascended to the spiritual realm on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Detroit, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his devoted grandparents, Quincy Stafford, Sr. and Pearline Stafford of Albany, Georgia.
Tay, Lea Lea, Piequion, leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, his devoted mother, Sebrina B. Wright (Ricardo); his loving father, Quincy Stafford, Jr. (Teresa Stafford), his devoted sisters and brother, Ricara M. Bennett, Maya Richard and Quincy Stafford III; a doting niece, A’Nyla S.
