Lyndon Price Obituary

On early Monday morning, July 19, 2021, the Lamb's Book of Life was opened, the trumpet sounded, and Mr. Lyndon Price was called home to be present with the Lord. Lyndon Price was born January 9, 1965, in Albany, Georgia.   He was affectionately known as "Tushay". Lyndon was the third child of (the late) Robert and (the late) Nellie Price, who were also the parents to his siblings: Rayance (Ronnie) and Victoria (Von). After his parents divorced, his mother, Nellie, married (the late) Henry Marshall, who raised all three children as his own and remained close to them until his death. Lyndon was educated in the Dougherty County School System and was a 1983 graduate of Westover Comprehensive High School.

After graduation, he was employed over the years by several local companies in Albany, Georgia. Later, he gained employment at Bob's Candies, Inc. until closing and afterward worked under contract with Proctor and Gamble until his health began to fail. He lived his life happy and fancy-free and he enjoyed life; he loved to laugh and dance. Lyndon loved sports and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He was a member of the Albany Masonic Fraternity and a Shriner. Lyndon was well known in Albany and always had a smile to offer everyone he encountered; he was loved by many.

At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined The Third Kiokee Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia under the leadership of Reverend Levi Breedlove.

Lyndon met LaShonda, the love of his life, in 1994 and three years later, they were married in holy matrimony. This union spanned 23 years. In 2018, Lyndon decided he needed and wanted a change in life and moved to Tennessee until his death. He had an extended loving family there by the last name (s): the Williams, and the Dawsey's.

Lyndon leaves to cherish his life, a loving devoted wife, LaShonda; a brother, Ronnie; a sister, Von, all of Albany, Georgia; a devoted mother-in-law, Emma and sister-in-law, Sabrina, all of Albany, Georgia; a devoted and faithful best friend and brother (sister), Daryl (Carla) Williams; a Godson, Darrien, all of Smyrna, Tennessee; and a host of aunts, nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Also, he shared a special brotherhood with a dynamic group of men that he looked to as brothers known as Dem Bois. Side by side we ride across this land. Brothers by choice more than a shake of the hand.  Brothers in arms protecting each other from harm.  Brothers not of kin but brothers to the end. #wearel #dembois4ever
