Mary E. James

Mary Elizabeth James was born November 15, 1947, to the late Mr. Eddie Lee James, Sr., and the late Johnnie P. Lewis James in Calhoun County, GA. She joined the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she was in the Junior Choir and on the Usher Board. She later joined the Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she served until she retired. She gave birth to her daughter, April L. Hobbs Geer (Timothy).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Willie L. James, Henry James, Eddie L. James, Jr. and David L. James.

She is survived by her daughter, April L. Hobbs Geer (Timothy); her grandchildren, Dominique, Meosha, and Michael; a great-grandson, David; siblings, Walan D. James, Eddie B. Robinson, and Lenora McDaniels; sister-in-law, Rosalyn James; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
