Mrs. Mildred Lee Thomas was born in Sylvester, Georgia, on March 28, 1951, to the late Martha Lou Thomas and the late Charlie D. Thomas.
She gave her life to Christ at a young age and became a member of the Union Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Mildred was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was educated in the Dougherty and Worth County School Systems. Throughout her life, she was employed as a caregiver. Her home was a shelter and safe haven for many others.
Mildred was united in holy matrimony to Freddie Lee Thompson who preceded her in death.
On Thursday, October 7, 2021, God called our beloved Mildred home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Lou Thomas and Charlie D. Thomas; her sister, Marlene Thomas; and three brothers, Frank Thomas, Charles Thomas, and Michael Thomas.
Mildred leaves to mourn and cherish her memories, a daughter, Carla J. Thomas of Albany, GA; three sons, Randy B. Starling, and Adonis D. Thomas of Albany, GA, and Bobby G. Thomas of Glenville, GA; three sisters, Annie Lois Morrow and Valerie Thomas of Albany, GA, and Vivian (Rodney) Gibson of Atlanta, GA; four brothers, Raymond Thomas, Robert Thomas, Jerry Turner and Curtis Thomas, all of Albany, GA; nine grandchildren, Karlisha (Anthony) Lawson, Shameka Warren, Adonis Warren, KaJavis Hill, Jaqunise Warren, Bronze Thomas, De'Kesia Jackson, Brianna Starling, Randy Starling, all of Albany, GA; seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and several God-children.
