Nettie Jewel Anthony

Mrs. Nettie Anthony, 64 years old of Albany, GA, was born on December 30, 1958, to the late Mary Patrick and Bobby Patrick, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Jean Patrick, O’Brien and William Gillian.

At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal savior. She was educated in the Dougherty County School System.

She was married to the love of her life Mr. Leon Anthony, Sr. They were married for 15 years, but were together for over 50 years.

Nettie was employed at Bob’s Candies for many years. She worked at M&M Mars, and she also worked at New Birth daycare where she enjoyed working with children. Lastly, she was employed at Physician Choice Health Services.

Nettie leaves to forever cherish her memories: her husband, Leon Anthony, Sr.; her children, Latasha Denise Anthony and Leon Anthony, Jr.; her siblings, Nancy (Henry) Anderson, Emma (Rev. Dr. Darrell) Jones, Lillie Patrick, Deebee (Valarie) Patrick, and Bobby Patrick; a devoted nephew, Mr. John Anderson Jr. (Tanky), whom she loved dearly; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. She also leaves behind two fur babies, Olivia and Elina.
