Oscar Fuller Obituary

Oscar C. Fuller, Jr., affectionately known as “Bae Brother,” and “Lil Bully,” was the third child born to Oscar C. Fuller, Sr. and Jerusha P. Fuller on June 3, 1949. He was one of ten children born to that union.

Oscar joined the St. James Baptist Church in Baconton, Georgia, at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Anthony. Oscar attended schools at Dent Reynolds Elementary and Camilla Consolidated High School before attending and graduating from Monroe High School in Albany, Georgia. After graduation, Oscar joined the Marines in 1967 and received an honorable discharge in 1970. 

 After being discharged from the Marines, Oscar married Annell Johnson and to that union one beautiful daughter, Tammi L. Fuller, was born.

 Oscar was a dedicated worker. He worked many years for a Calhoun County peanut company and Cagle's chicken company in Camilla, Georgia, before beginning work for Walmart in Albany, Georgia, where he was employed at the time of his death. 

Oscar enjoyed dancing and gardening, but his two greatest passions were singing with the Gospel Keys and fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar C. Fuller, Sr. and Jerusha P. Fuller; brothers, Johnny C. Newkirk, Andrew Fuller, and Lloyd Fuller; and son, Terrell Y. Patterson. 

He leaves behind his daughter, Tammi L. Fuller Edwards (James) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; son, Le' Chaun C. Patterson of Camden, New Jersey; grandchildren, Shannon Fuller, Le'Chaun Patterson II,  Le'Chya Patterson,  Le'Chira Patterson,  Le'Cavien Patterson, and Le'Aira Patterson; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Fuller, Emmanuel Fuller, and SaVannah Fuller; brother, Yahya Sabree, also known as John Henry; sisters, Rita Newkirk Zyiad of Camden, New Jersey, Clovis D. Clark of Ellenwood, Georgia, Sheila Hameen of Baltimore, Maryland, Ola Mae Crane of the Island of Bermuda, and Jerusha E. Miles, also known as Kim, of Cartersville, Georgia. He also leaves behind his loving partner of 5 years, Shunique Ellis of Albany, Georgia; and her sons,  Alexander McGowan, and Eric Tyrone, Jr.
