Perry Lee (Paralee) Alexander

Perry Lee (Paralee) Alexander was born on July 14, 1926, to the late Mr. Jessie Nolan and Mrs. Ruby Easley Nolan.  Mrs. Alexander departed her earthly home on December 20, 2020.  She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church of Meridian, Mississippi, and later became a member of Christian Life Missionary Baptist Church until her death. 

 

She was married to the late Mr. Joe Willie Alexander; to that union one daughter was born, Sandra Alexander Brown.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She never stopped talking about the Lord.  Her favorite song was “This Little Light of Mine”. 

 

She leaves to cherish her memories:  one daughter, Sandra Alexander Brown; Albany, GA; one granddaughter, Kamina D. Brown Martin; Albany, GA, one grandson, Larry (Keyonda) Brown, Jr., Virginia Beach, VA; three great-granddaughters, Jasmine A. Jones, Alexus B. Martin, and Kamryn L. Brown; one great-grandson, Kason A. Brown; extended family—Sue Carol Harper, Kathy Holloman, and the late Jackie Henson from Meridian, Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
