Rayance Ronnie Price aka “Ray Ray” was born November 15, 1979, in Birmingham, AL. He was one of two children born to Tammy Price and Rayance Ronnie Price. He was educated in the Dougherty County School System and was a 1998 graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was trained as a Fire Protection Journeyman. He attended Fayetteville State University in North Carolina where he studied Data Information Systems. He then attended Albany State University and received a bachelor’s degree in Data Information Systems.
He worked 10 years with Delta Airlines where he became a manager. He transitioned to M & M Mars where he was made team leader over his group of associates.
He loved sports and was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan. He loved sci-fi movies and enjoyed watching Star Wars. He also liked playing basketball, video games and viewing animal pictures.
Ray was a devoted father and a very dedicated friend to those he befriended and a diligent worker in his place of employment…”A Celebrity.”
He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Sherod Price.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Josiah Price of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mason Price of Albany, Georgia; his mother, Tammy; his father, Ronnie; a surrogate father, Alvin Hawkins; his aunts, Von Price, Kimberly Smith and Bridget Pujoue; his uncles, Christopher E. Sanders, Sr., and Leonard Price; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Sanders; two great-aunts; a special friend, Kimberly Carter; special Godsister, Kayla Granger; special Godmothers, Cindy, Christine, and Lisa; and a host of cousins and friends.
