Robert Miller, born on September 9, 1956, in Columbus, Georgia, passed away on July 28, 2025, in Albany, Georgia. He was 68 years old.
Robert spent his early years in Columbus, where he attended school and began building the foundation of a life marked by devotion to family and faith. On January 1, 1980, he dedicated his life to Jehovah—a commitment that remained central to him throughout his life.
On June 24, 2004, Robert was joined in marriage to Etheline Miller. Together, they shared a bond strengthened by love and companionship. One of Robert’s greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren—whether playing basketball or simply enjoying their company. He also cherished taking evening walks with his wife, moments that reflected the quiet strength of their relationship.
Robert is lovingly remembered by his wife, Etheline Miller; his sister, Mary Alice Johnson (Eugene) of Columbus, Georgia; two daughters, Charlotte Bullock and Jamie Sumbry (Michael); and eight grandchildren: Dechasatti Britton, Detravious Britton, De’Ondra Johnson, Deion Hill, Kiyshunn Royals, Deveron Hawkins (Nylah), Jasmine Fluker (Dante), and Jamaal Hawkins (Karen). He also leaves behind a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and extended relatives who will continue to honor his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Miller; mother, Evelyn Miller; and sister, Barbara Jean Joshua-Feter.
Robert’s legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with his presence. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
