Sharon Williams was born on October 8, 1964, in Albany, Georgia, to James W. and the late Eva J. Williams.
Sharon was educated in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Westover High School in 1982. She was a hardworking, dedicated, longtime employee with UPS (airport) for over 15 years.
On February 4, 2022, the Lord spoke to her, “Well done good and faithful servant. Come on and take your rest,” and Sharon entered into eternal life. She was preceded in death by her eldest brother, James W. Williams, Jr.
Sharon leaves her memories to the love of her life, Samuel Green; one son, Darrell Williams whom she loved with all her heart; two granddaughters, Neveah West, and Brooklyn Williams; eleven siblings, Robert L. Williams, Fred L. Williams, Laura J. (Jesse) Cheeks, Mary H. Williams, Eddie B. Williams, Annette W. (the late Norman) Taylor, Calvin (Erin) Williams, Curtis (Sharon) Williams, Gwendolyn (Henry) Tinch, Shurita (Dwayne) Marlin, and Shunita (Derek) Pace; a soon-to-be daughter-in-law whom she loved, Latrice Dukes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom loved and cared for her deeply.
