Walter (WaWa) Anderson

Walter Anderson was born in Albany, Georgia, on October 22, 1951, to the late Sabene Anderson and Bessie Mae Jones. Affectionately known as “WaWa”, he received his formal education in the public school system of Dougherty County and the streets of Albany, GA (Cotton Ave.)

Walter was a known smack talker. His love for people never let him meet a stranger. Walter touched many lives during his time on earth. He spent a great amount of time working in the service industry doing everything from delivering bread, to working at Radium Country Club and Doublegate Country Club for many years.

Walter married his very dear friend whom he had known from the age of 19, Cynthia Daniels on July 23, 1997.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda K. Anderson; his siblings, Lois, David, Eddie and Frankie, and his sister-n-law, Shirley Green.

Walter is survived by his loving wife: Cynthia Anderson; his children: Joseph L. Daniels, Jr., Walter M. Anderson (Nitasha), JoNathan L. Daniels, Jamillia S. Daniels and Janetta C. Daniels; his siblings: Margaret Gooden, Roger Anderson and Brandon (Ester) Anderson; sisters-in-law: Sharlene and Vickie Green; brother-in-law: Arthur Frank Lumpkin; nine grandchildren: Shelita Anderson, LeAnder Teemer, Aaliyah Cosby, Joseph Daniels III, Isaiah Anderson, David Noel III, Jayce Crapp, Nyla Anderson and Noah Anderson; four great-grandchildren: Bryce Anderson, Bryton Anderson, Kylie Teemer, and  Ayden Teemer; and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Walter was also known as “the life of a party” which is why we know he is rejoicing and dancing all over heaven. He departed from this earthly life on May 15, 2021, to begin his heavenly celebration.
